Introducing New Travel Benefits for Platinum and Centurion!

There are three new and exciting Travel Benefits launching in April 2011 for our Platinum and Centurion Card members! Here are the highlights:

Priority Pass Select
Priority Pass Select allows eligible cardmembers complimentary access to the largest number of airport VIP lounges worldwide, regardless of the airline being flown, ticket class, or membership in a specific airline lounge program. Priority Pass membership will be free for Platinum Card members. Visit the Priority Pass Web site view what lounges are available in each city.

Global Entry
Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Though intended for frequent international travelers, there is no minimum number of trips necessary to qualify for the program. Participants may enter the United States by using automated kiosks located at select airports. This benefit will make traveling internationally much more convenient for our American Express Card members.

Foreign Transaction (FX) Fee Removal
We have eliminated foreign transaction fees for purchases and Express Cash transactions incurred in a foreign currency. This is a fantastic benefit for our cardmembers who travel internationally and don't want the hassle of carrying currency or taking the time out to convert currency - it's so much easier just to use the American Express Card!
